Welcome to the MWEA DEIB Committee
The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee works to strengthen MWEA by ensuring all voices are heard, valued, and represented across our organization and the water sector.
What we do:
- Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging within MWEA
- Identify and help remove barriers to participation and advancement
- Support education and awareness around DEIB topics
- Provide input on programs, events, and policies to improve equity
- Encourage meaningful engagement from all members and communities
- Help attract, support, and retain a diverse water workforce
