Committee Purpose
The Laboratory Practices Committee joint with MI-AWWA and exists to serve as a collaborative platform for laboratory professionals to share knowledge, discuss challenges and solutions, and promote excellence in laboratory operations related to water quality testing and analysis.
Who should join this committee? Laboratory analysts and technicians, Laboratory managers and supervisors, Water and wastewater treatment plant staff involved in sampling or lab work, Quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) professionals, Regulatory and compliance specialists, Environmental scientists and microbiologists, Educators or students interested in water/wastewater laboratory practices, and anyone passionate about promoting high-quality laboratory standards and education.
